AKC Canine GOod Citizen and AKC STAR Puppy Programs and evaluations

Natasha is an approved AKC Evaluator and Tester for the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and AKC STAR Puppy Programs.

The CGC test was established to make sure that dogs are well trained and taught good manners and that their owners are responsible. It is a test that covers 1o skills to demonstrate good manners and training.

The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is a precursor to the CGC although not required to take the CGC. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program is an incentive program for loving dog owners who have taken the time to take their puppies through a basic training class. Training classes teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. Any puppy completing the Canine ABC through Pathfinder is potentially elligible for the STAR Puppy award.

If you are intersted in either program, please contact me.
